Pierre Egot, AssociatePierre is an associate with BayTech Venture Capital who joined the team in January 2008. He focuses on investments in the segments of e-commerce, communication technologies and clean technologies. Over the course of his studies he undertook several internships at consulting groups, where he gained experience in marketing new technologies. He has also worked with the French National Audit Office in Paris. Prior to joining BayTech Venture Capital, Pierre wrote a report on public research and innovation in Germany, commissioned by the French Ministry of Economics and the French Embassy in Berlin. He studied physics, biology and economics at Lycée Louis le Grand and École Polytechnique. He then studied innovation and management of technologies at the Judge Business School in Cambridge, with a major in venture capital’s behaviour towards technological risks and a minor in energy policies. Pierre holds a masters of science in engineering from the École Polytechnique, and a masters of philosophy in technology policy from Cambridge University and the Cambridge-MIT-Institute.
